The vast oasis that makes up one of the park’s most important zones is an ideal place to appreciate nature. Begin with a visit to the mulino, a restored 14th-century mill that remained in use until the early 1900s. Follow the Sentiero della Rosta (path) past the reed house, similar to those once inhabited by locals. Continuing farther into the oasis will reveal the visitor’s center with several exhibits, and the orto botanico (botanical garden) where typical vegetation of the zone flourishes. This is only 15-20 minutes from Treviso by car, and a La Marca bus stops just in front of the entrance to the oasis. Allow about an hour to explore the oasis.
